Look Closely
A visual breather of cropped paintings, offered for your noisy mind and mine.
This week is mostly a visual one, close up fragments of my artwork, offered as a breather and a small reminder to look closely when life feels scattered.
I’ll be honest. These past two weeks of the chaotic, not-so-lazy days of summer have hindered my writing abilities. There’s a lot of adjusting and juggling, moving parts that abound in summer (true for all and a bit extra for parents).
With the instability of it all, for grace upon myself, and perhaps for your noisy minds as well, I decided to make this week’s post completely visual, aside from this introduction. Enjoy this compilation of close up artwork and sketch moments.
May it be a reminder to lean in and look closely when we are feeling scattered.

My heart is provoked - thank you for this moment to slow down and really see.
